One of the central themes of Magnolias in Winter is Emmanuel—God with us.

Throughout the hardest seasons of our lives, we discovered that hope often arrives through people who show up. Friends who bring meals. Neighbors who sit in silence. Old friends who remember. New friends who listen. Community that lifts us when we cannot stand alone.

These gatherings are an opportunity to celebrate that spirit together.

Whether you are one of Ginny's lifelong friends, a neighbor, a fellow traveler who has walked through grief, or someone simply seeking hope and connection, I would love to welcome you.

Together, we'll share stories, laughter, memories, and encouragement—and continue passing forward the love that was so generously given to our family.

Many of these events also support the Ginny Kelley "God Love Ya, Hon" Memorial Fund, created in Ginny's memory to continue her legacy of compassion, faith, and caring for others.

Chicago Friends & Family Gathering Book Reading, Signing, and Fundraiser for Ginny Kelley Memorial Fund. Guest appearance and introduction by Lil Kelley, Ginny’s and Katie’s mom.

A casual evening at a local wine bar with old friends, family, and the wonderful "Ginny Pals" who have remained such an important part of our lives.
