Angel Kisses
Angel Kisses - A Book for Families Experiencing the Loss of a Parent
When a loving mother becomes an angel, her three little lambs wonder if she is really gone.
Through gentle rhyming verse and tender watercolor illustrations, Angel Kisses reassures children that love never ends. As their mother prepares them for heaven's plan, she promises she will always be near—in the warmth of the sunshine, the beauty of blooming flowers, and the soft "angel kisses" that remind them they are forever loved.
Written by sisters Ginny Kelley and Katie Kelley Dorn during Ginny's courageous battle with cancer, this heartfelt story grew from a mother's desire to comfort her three young children. Today, it has become a cherished resource for families experiencing the death of a parent, grandparent, sibling, or other loved one.
Filled with faith, hope, and unconditional love, Angel Kisses helps children understand that while someone they love may no longer be seen, that person's love remains forever in their hearts.
Perfect for ages 3–8, this beautifully illustrated hardcover is a comforting gift for grieving families, memorials, bereavement ministries, counselors, hospitals, and anyone seeking to help a child navigate loss with hope.
